Family celebration with brother Matteo Milan's third-place finish

Jonathan Milan wins the fourth stage of the UAE Tour, 182 km long, starting and finishing in Fujairah. The Italian sprinter wins in a sprint, beating Ethan Vernon and his brother Matteo Milan .

Five riders, De Bad, Steinhauser, Gamper, Milesi and Knox , attempted an attack, although the British rider got up and was caught by the group after 150 km of racing.

With 29km to go, there was a crash in the group in which Fabio Jakobsen was also involved, along with Dan Hoole, Ethan Hayter and Robbe Ghys .

Jakobsen, Hoole and Hayter managed to get going again, although now detached from the rest of the group, while Ghys, a Dechathlon rider, was forced to retire.

The peloton seemed to have control over the four remaining attackers, who had a 40-second lead with 15 km to go. However, the front group didn't give up, and the attackers were only caught on the home straight, in the final three hundred meters. There, Jonathan Milan was the best at getting off to a good start, and with his progression, he went on to win ahead of Ethan Vernon and his brother Matteo Milan.

Sixth place went to another Italian, Matteo Malucelli, while Dainese finished eleventh, just outside the top ten.

Everything remains unchanged in the general classification, with Tiberi maintaining a 21" lead over Del Toro and 1" over Tejada.
