The third day of the 2025 Cycling World Championships in Rwanda features the young talents of the Junior categories, with the individual time trials scheduled in Kigali.

The competition opens with the Junior Women's race, featuring 47 athletes representing 29 nations . The relatively flat course concludes with the final cobbled climb of Kimihurura (1.3 km at 6.3%) before the finish line at the Kigale Convention Centre.

Host Masengesho Yvonne will lead the way, while British national champion Erin Boothman will be the last to start at 12:15. The athletes will start at 1 minute and 30 second intervals.

The Junior men's race will take place in the afternoon, with 83 riders from 63 nations competing on a slightly longer 22.6km course. The route includes the climb of the Côte de Nyanza (2.4km at 5.5%) before they too tackle the final cobbled section.

The first to start will be Rwandan Pacifique Byusa at 1.54pm, while the last starter will be British champion Dylan Sage at 4pm , again with 1.30am intervals between runners.
