McNulty takes back the yellow jersey

Mattias Skjelmose wins the sixth stage of Paris-Nice from Sisterona La Colle-sur-Loup (198.2km).

The race explodes, as expected on the Cote de la Colle sur Loup, a short but tough climb 30 km from the finish line. Jorgenson is the first to take the lead, followed by McNulty and Skjelmose , while Evenepoel and Roglic remain in Plapp's yellow jersey group with 10 other riders and climb the hill 15" from the leaders.

The three attackers collaborated perfectly and took their advantage beyond the minute. Skjelmose attacks at the end which tends to rise slightly and wins the stage ahead of McNulty who wears the yellow jersey and Jorgenson.

Evenepoel forcefully takes fourth place, 52" behind, ahead of the rest of the group.
