Plapp, second, wears the yellow jersey

Santiago Buitrago wins the fourth stage of Paris-Nice, from Chalon-sur-Saône to Mont Brouilly (183km).

Today's stage includes 7 gpm, on the penultimate, the Col du Fût d'Avenas - Les Chappes, the day's breakaway made up of 4 riders is resumed. Furthermore, Plapp and Buitrago take off and climb over the top with 20" on the yellow jersey group, with around twenty strong riders.

The two arrive with a 40" margin at the start of Mount Brouilly, the last ascent of the day. Buitrago manages to detach Plapp 1 km from the summit and takes off towards victory alone.

Behind him comes Plapp who consoles himself with the yellow jersey, while Skjelmose beats Evenepoel in the sprint for third place. Primoz Roglic loses 2 seconds.
