Tomorrow the Dwars door Vlaanderen will take place, another category 5 race in the northern countryside.

The riders will have to tackle 184 kilometres from Roeselare to Waregem. There are 11 sections of cobblestones and 10 climbs to cover , with the Eikenberg (-39 km), the Nokereberg (-22 km) and the Nokere (-9 km) which will most likely be decisive for the final result.

The main favourites will undoubtedly be Pedersen and Philipsen , suited to any type of race, whether with a large selection or in the case of a bunch sprint.

If the race were to be decided in a tight sprint, Milan and Merlier would become the riders to watch, along with other pure sprinters such as Groves, Kristoff and Molano.

If the race turns out to be tougher than expected, we can only mention Jorgenson , last year's winner, Kung, Benoot, Stuyven, Wright, Girmay, Wellens and Sheffield.

There are still many doubts about the condition of Wout Van Aert , who still appears to be burdened by the work at altitude and perhaps not yet ready to fight for the final success.

Finally, let's also mention two big disappointments so far this spring, namely Pithie and Mohoric , who have never managed to compete for a placing and who are therefore called upon to redeem themselves.
