Pogacar, another appointment with history

The world champion wants to win again to close a dream season

Tadej Pogacar doesn't stop and wants to end the season in the best possible way wearing the world champion's jersey .
The Slovenian will race the Giro dell'Emilia next Saturday, for the first time in the rainbow jersey, then the Tre Valli Varesine (Tuesday 8 October) and finally the Giro di Lombardia (Saturday 12 October), another race in which he is the big favourite: "This time of year is always one of my favourites for racing and it will be even more special now with the world champion's jersey on my back," Pogacar said. "What happened in Zurich was a dream for me. Whatever happens from here on is a bonus, but given the amazing season we've had as a team, we want to push until the last race and finish on a high note. The end-of-year classics in Italy are beautiful and exciting races and we are ready to give it our all."
Yet another appointment with history, therefore, because no one has ever won two grand tours, two monument classics and the world championship in the same season.
