The driver of the truck who hit Davide Rebellin was identified, causing his death on Wednesday 30 November . According to what the Giornale di Vincenza reports, the man would be of German nationality and would have been reported in Germany, where, however, he cannot be stopped since the crime of road homicide does not exist there . The heavy vehicle was traced thanks to the footage from the cameras present in the areas, including those of the motorway toll booths near the point where the tragedy occurred, near Montebello Vicentino. The truck would have a German license plate and the search for the vehicle was conducted by the Italian and German authorities.
