Red Bull-Bora: Roglic to lead the Vuelta
The Slovenian confirmed as the overall leader in the stage race that suits him best

Primož Roglič will be the captain of Red Bulla-Bora hansgrohe at the 2026 Vuelta a España. The Slovenian will try to redeem himself after a season of ups and downs, although, with the presence of his compatriot Tadej Pogacar , it is unlikely that he will be able to aim for the overall victory and go after the all-time record for victories in the Spanish Grand Tour, five.
Joining Roglic in the general classification will be the young Australian Luke Tuckwell , who this season finished second in the 2026 Tour Auvergne – Rhône Alpes (formerly the Critérium du Dauphiné).
Finn Fisher-Black , at his third experience in the Spanish race, will be hunting for stages and perhaps try to attack several times, while the team's sprinter will be Jordi Meeus , who has already achieved three successes this season and is looking for an even more important fourth.
Completing the Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe team at the Vuelta will be Italian Gianni Moscon, Callum Thornley, Frederik Wandahl and Gianni Vermeersch .
