The routes of Strade Bianche and Strade Bianche Women 2025 were presented. The official presentation took place in the evocative Sala delle Lupe inside the Palazzo Pubblico in Piazza del Campo.  

After hosting the sensational solo of Tadej Pogacar in 2024 - whose encore in Piazza del Campo was the preamble to a record-breaking season - and the duel between Lotte Kopecky and Elisa Longo Borghini - renewed, then a few months later at the Giro d'Italia Women - also in 2025 the southernmost Northern Classic in Europe will be one of the most prestigious events of the first part of the season, thanks to a renewed route that maintains intact the charm of a race that shows the entire world the splendid scenery of the Crete Senesi .

The dirt sections increase to 16 in the men's race , 81.7 km of the 213 total, and to 13 in the women's race, 50.3 km of the 136 total . The finale will always be the same, with the spectacular Santa Caterina wall preceding the entrance to Piazza del Campo, where the new masters of one of the most coveted races of the entire calendar will be crowned.

This is demonstrated by the numbers, constantly increasing both in terms of television ratings, with 25 million viewers overall for both races".

Mauro Vegni, RCS Sport Cycling Area Director, echoes this: "Strade Bianche and Strade Bianche Women Elite have acquired such importance that they are now contested by big names, as was also demonstrated in 2024 by the victories of Tadej Pogacar and Lotte Kopecky ."

Even a great champion of the recent past, Paolo Bettini , praises the spectacle of the race: "I have only participated in one edition of this spectacular race but, in hindsight, I am sure that it would have been one of my seasonal goals. The roll of honor speaks for itself, with great champions, both male and female, who have succeeded one another over the years. Furthermore, a race like this on these wonderful settings represents a perfect spot for cycling and for bicycle-related tourism".
