Tim Merlier wins his second consecutive Scheldeprijs (1.Pro), a 202.8 km Belgian classic.

The race is decided as usual with a bunch sprint. A crash splits the peloton with 12 km to go, but the favorites manage to avoid it.

Philipsen tries to anticipate the sprint, but Merlier confirms the great condition of the last few months and triumphs right in front of the Belgian and Moschetti .
