Thomas Pidcock has finally managed to conquer the Amstel Gold Race after the Dutch race eluded him by a matter of millimeters in 2021; the +4 for English is absolutely deserved.

Two other specialists from the Ardennes finish on the podium, Hirschi and Benoot , who both get +3.

Then there were many surprises in the top ten , such as Vansevenant (+3) at the foot of the podium, Lapeira 5th (+3), Mollema 7th (+2) and Pacher 8th (+1).
