Liane Lippert wins the second stage of the Tour de France Femmes from Clermont-Ferrand to Mauriac of 151.7km.

Stage characterized by very heavy rain and many crashes in the final. The big names move 4 km from the conclusion, among these Elisa Longo Borghini who is not surprised by the first reach of Katarzyna Niewiadoma .  

Then the final sprint with Liane Lippert who with a great progression precedes the yellow jersey Lotte Kopecky and the Italian Silvia Persico.  

Eleventh position for the other Italian, Elisa Longo Borghini who closes the group of the best; after her the Spanish Ane Santesteban arrives 4” behind.

Lotte Kopecky remains in the yellow jersey with a 49" lead over Lippert and 59" over Moolman.
