The first three days of the Tour de France are archived, all run in Denmark, with the great departure from Copenhagen and an audience that left their mark for the great enthusiasm and the great party atmosphere.

Three stages that gave some jolts, starting with the inaugural time trial, with a surprise (or almost) winner, Yves Lampaert , who thus wore the first yellow jersey of this Grande Boucle . Then two sprints, beautiful and technically interesting, won by Jakobsen and Groenewegen , which are confirmed as two of the best sprinters in circulation (the accident that saw them involved two years ago in the Tour of Poland is just a bad memory for both) .

Van Aert half smiles , leaving Denmark in the yellow jersey, but pocketing three consecutive second stage places: "It's not so fun to finish in second place for three days in a row", said the Belgian himself after the arrival of Sønderborg we are convinced that it can be done again, considering that he remains the strongest candidate for the green jersey.

Behind him is the expert Sagan , who did not spare a few words for Van Aert after yesterday's sprint (the Slovak complained to the Belgian about being closed in the last meters). A sign that “Peterone” is there and has no intention of giving up the green jersey he has won seven times in his career at the Tour de France .

For other ideas we await the next stages, not so much that of Tuesday, from Dankerque to Calais (probable third sprint), but that of Wednesday, with the arrival in Arenberg and the riders who will have to face the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix . There, as many have said, another Tour will begin and we will see what it tells us.
