The first championship trophy of the season ended with Paris-Roubaix. We are talking about the Inferno del Nord Trophy , which included E3, Gent-wevelgem, Dwars door vlaanderen, the Tour of Flanders and, indeed, the race held yesterday and ended with the success of Mathieu Van der Poel.

Congratulations to Team Arcobaleno who won with an astounding 8,889 points, making them the most consistent in terms of placings in the five Trophy races. His winning move was to keep and line up Jasper Philipsen , who finished on the podium in Roubaix and fourth in Dwars thus giving away precious points for the final success.

In second place was Il Guido with 8,798 points, author of an amazing performance at Flanders where he lined up the first six at the finish including Neilson Powless . But at Roubaix he had to raise the white flag precisely because of the absence of Philipsen, instead inserted at Dwars.

Third place for Gintonic Team with 8,767 points: he too with Philipsen in the team at Roubaix and a top-level team at Flanders, however he obtained fewer points at Ghent-Wevelgem. Curiosity: the three teams are far from the top positions in the championship standings.

We recall that Flanders and Roubaix also counted for the Monumento Trophy (together with Sanremo, Liège and Lombardy) where the first three in each race in the championship are awarded plus the first three at the end of the five races. In this case the gifts are made available by AlVento.
