Fourth and final stage of the Vuelta a Burgos women: 121.5km starting in Tordomar and finishing uphill in Lagunas de Neila. The group arrives compact at the foot of the final ascent; Vollering's SD Worx Team immediately imposes a very high pace that makes a lot of selection, Vollering itself attacks 9 km from the finish , only Van Anrooij manages to keep his wheels at first, but she too has to give way a few hundred meters further late. Vollering flies towards the solitary victory: for her a double blow with the conquest of the stage and of the general classification. Behind him , Erica Magnaldi and Silvia Persico arrive at 1'30”. In the general classification Van Anrooij and Moolman complete the podium.
