The women's Vuelta opens in Torrevieja with a 14.5 km team time trial without altitude difficulties.

Marianne Vos' Jumbo-Visma Team wins the race with a time of 18'03" at an average speed of 48.2 km/h   preceding Team Canyon//SRAM Racing by only one second and Trek-Segafredo by nine. The first to cross the Jumbo-Visma finish line is Henderson who tomorrow will wear the red jersey of leader of the general classification.
