Second stage of the Women's Vuelta : 105.8 km from Orihuela to Pilar de la Horadada. On the Puerto de Rebate, the only GPM of the day, Niewiadoma and Fisher-Black try to accelerate to detach the sprinters who however manage to return to the top of the climb. As predicted, the group then goes to fight for the victory in the sprint , Charlotte Kool starts at the right time, recovers Dygert and crosses the finish line first, anticipating Vos , who consoles herself by conquering the red jersey thanks to the second place bonus.
