Stefano Allocchio , race director for RCS, who spoke about routes and solutions in the event of stages canceled or shortened due to bad weather and attendance at the next Giro d'Italia. Some funny episodes from the past also emerged with Riccardo Magrini, inside and outside the races.

Allocchio confirmed that Remco Evenepoel could have participated in the 2024 pink race but that his plans then changed.

On the Giro route he was clear: "We tried to make it less difficult so that some riders could race it. We cast the bait and one, in particular, took the bait." The reference is, obviously, to Tadej Pogacar who, according to Allocchio, "fought with the team to come and race in Italy".
