Matteo Malucelli wins the 184km fourth stage of the AllUa Tour, from Winter Park to Shalal Sijyat Rocks . The Italian from Astana surprises favorite Jonathan Milan in the final meters with a sprint. It was executed to perfection.

The stage begins with an attack by sixteen riders : Borgo and Liepins (Bahrain Victorious), De Bondt and Double (Jayco AlUla), Julius Johansen (UAE Team Emirates), Arriolabengoa and Berwick (Caja Rural), Carpenter and Christian (Modern Adventure), Martin Svrcek (Soudal Quick Step), De Jong (Team Picnic), Minutes (Tudor), Meehan (Cofidis), Iacomoni (Team Ukyo), Bregnoj (Terengganu).  

After 70km the attackers have a lead of 1'40'' over the main group, led by Tudor, who controls the lead from Voisard , with the sprinters' teams also in control.  

As usual, in a stage like this, the dangers come from the fans and with 84 km to go Higuita, Moschetti, Jakobsen and Dunbar lose contact with the leader's group who in the meantime has shortened the gap on the escapees to 1'.  

With 56km to go, the breakaway riders were caught and Higuita's group was about 35" behind the main group, but then the Colombian, third in the general classification, 6" behind Voisard, managed to rejoin.  

The sprint finally came to a close, and Milan seemed to be on pace, but Malucelli grabbed his wheel and overtook him in the final meters. Dutchman Frits Biesterbos finished third.

Nothing changes in the general classification with the Swiss Voisard in the green leader's jersey, with a 4" advantage over Eulalio and 6" over Higuita.
