Tim Merlier (Soudal-Quick-Step) wins the fourth stage of the Renewi Tour from Riemst to Bilzen-Hoeselt (198.5km).

In the early stages of the race, a breakaway of six men broke away: De Bondt, Simmons, Ries, Vanhoof, Van Hautegem and Kubis.

With 25km to go, with the leaders more than 2 minutes ahead, the sprinters' teams began to push hard, especially Kooij's Visma, De Lie's Lotto and Merlier's Soudal.

The attackers were only caught in the final 2 km, with Affini making a great push towards the end. In the sprint, Kooij got too far ahead of the pack, and Merlier , on the other side of the road, punished him and scored a repeat of this Renewi. Second place went to Bittner , with Kooij third.
