The Belgian studied three stages of the race

Remco Evenepoel prepares for his Tour de France debut. In recent days, Evenepoel tested the gravel sectors of the ninth stage of the 2024 Tour around Troyes.

According to Flemish media, Evenepoel took the opportunity to study the time trial of the seventh stage up to Gevrey-Chambertin and part of the route of the eighth stage up to Colombey-les-Deux-Églises.

Het Laatste Nieuws   reports that Evenepoel was with teammate Louis Vervaeke. Following this, the former world champion returned to Calpe, Spain, to conclude the first part of the training.

Although Evenepoel's racing schedule for 2024 will only be revealed at the Soudal-QuickStep media day next week, the 23-year-old has already indicated his intention to make his Tour debut in July before tackling the Paris Olympics 2024 .

Next season will also focus on Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Road World Championships.

Evenepoel is expected to begin his 2024 season in February at Volta Algarve. Next up should be the start of Paris-Nice in March.
