Remco Evenepoel starts his season with a victory. The Belgian from Soudal Quick Step has in fact won the Figueira Champions Classic today, 10 February, a Portuguese race over a distance of 192.4 km.

Evenepoel started 55km from the finish line and only arrived almost two minutes ahead of the small group led by Vito Braet of Intermarché. On the podium the Italian champion Simone Velasco , third.
