Mantovano, born in 1996, Affini is a pure chronoman. As a professional he boasts two victories and many important placings in the specialty, including three second places in 2021: in the national time trial championship and in two stages of the Giro d'Italia (time trial in Turin and in the Ravenna-Verona).
