Lennert Van Eetvelt wins the fifth stage of the Tour of Guangxi from Yizhou to Nongla by 165.8 km.

The Belgian from Lotto Dstny precedes Oscar Onley ( Team DSM ) by two seconds and Alex Baudin ( Decathlon AG2R ) by nine seconds. Fourth place for another Frenchman from Decathlon, Victor Lafay . Nothing to do for Pavel Sivakov ( Team UAE ) , another of the favourites, who placed fifth, eleven seconds behind the winner.

With the victory in the most difficult stage, which featured an uphill finish, Van Eetvelt is also the new leader of the general classification.
