The Spanish talent will also be a protagonist in Italian racing in 2024

Juan Ayuso is ready for the 2024 season, with the big goal of the Tour de France, but not only that. The Spanish talent of the UAE Team Emirates will, in fact, also be a protagonist in Italy racing the Strade Bianche and the Tirreno Adriatico : “The Vuelta has been the race I have concentrated on in the last two years – said Ayuso in an interview with Todo Alicante – Since I was little, above all else, there was the Tour and I think this year is the right time to try . Even though the result of the last Vuelta a España was worse than the first, I believe there was a step forward and I hope and believe that this year I will do it again. This makes me think that I might be ready to make my debut in the Tour. When I started cycling, the dream was always the Tour, to see Contador, Valverde, Purito … Now, to be there, to be one of them and fight for getting the best is undoubtedly a great motivation."

Auyso does not hide his emotions, but also a hint of ambition for participation in the Grande Boucle: “UAE Team Emirates, also Strade Bianche and Tirreno in Juan Ayuso's program towards the Grande Boucle: “The simple fact of being at the Tour will be exciting and Beautiful. I think this year's race is very tough, with two time trials, the dirt track... a lot can happen."

"Obviously Pogacar, for what he has shown and for what he is, is the leader of the team, he is number one . But based on how we raced last year or how Jumbo did, I think we also have to play cards different to benefit Tadej. […] Tadej is the leader, but I will not give up any opportunity that the team or the race will offer me.”
