Paris-Nice: Almeida wins stage four

Joao Almeida won the fourth stage of Paris-Nice, from Vichy to La Loge des Gardes, 163.4 km.

Stage affected by bad weather. The race was neutralized for several kilometers, due to hail, and restarted just under 30 km from the finish.

On the final climb the brawl begins. Having caught the last escapee of the day, Tobias Foss, it is Jonas Vingegaard's turn to attack with 2.5 km to go. It seems done, but behind him Almeida catches up with him, outwitting him on the finish line.

Mattias Skjelmose also did well, third, and Lenny Martinez, fourth. Vingegaard is still the new leader of the general classification.
