Both races will be held on March 7th
The Strade Bianche and Strade Bianche Women Elite events, which will open the Italian UCI World Tour calendar, are scheduled for March 7th, followed by the Gran Fondo, now in its 11th edition, on March 8th. The weekend will kick off on March 6th with the presentation of the women's and men's teams at the Fortezza Medicea in Siena.
Milan, January 21, 2026 The Strade Bianche Grand Weekend, which will open the season of the Italian UCI World Tour classics organized by RCS Sport on March 7th and continue on Sunday with the 11th edition of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche Estra, was presented today at La Rinascente in Milan's Piazza Duomo.
Strade Bianche Crédit Agricole and Strade Bianche Women Elite Crédit Agricole introduce some new features, while maintaining the allure of two spectacular events that have been the scene of great sporting feats over the years, such as Demi Vollering's second victory in Piazza del Campo and the solo ride of world champion Tadej Pogacar in the last edition.
The men's race will cover a 201km course, with the sectors decreasing from 16 to 14 for a total of 64.1km.
