Merlier and Magnier ready to dominate the sprints
Soudal QuickStep presents itself as a competitive team in 2026 with several riders capable of competing in sprints and classics .
The loss of Evenepoel will be felt and this year the most expensive riders will be the two top sprinters Merlier and Magnier , with 25 fantamillions.
Soudal will pay something in the stage races, where the points of reference will be Landa (24), Van Wilder (11) and Lecerf (8). For many races in the north, the leader will be the newcomer Stuyven (15).
There are several tempting low-cost names, starting with the new arrivals Rex (4) and Van Baarle (2) for the cobbled classics. We then point out the Italians Dainese (3) and Raccagni Noviero (1) for some minor sprints. Finally, two stage hunters like Zana (5) and Garofoli (4).
