Christian Scaroni (XDS Astana) wins the Classica Camp de Morvedre , a Spanish 1.1 race.

The Italian from XDS Astana made the decisive move on the last climb of the day, then beating Diego Pescador and Antonio Tiberi in the sprint, the only ones who had managed to follow him.  

The young Colombian tried to surprise Scaroni and play a cunning game, as he did not cooperate in the final due to the presence of his teammate Ivan Romeo behind him, who then finished fourth ahead of Andrea Vendrame (Team Jayco-AlUla), 39'' behind.

Also noteworthy is the sixth place of Diego Ulissi , who arrived in the third group at 1'08” from Scaroni, while Michael Matthews did not finish the race.
