Ben Healy is the new yellow jersey

Simon Yates wins the 165.3km stage ten of the Tour de France, from Ennezat to Le Mont-Dore Puy de Sancy. The British rider from Team Visma has the green light from the team to attack, and he seizes the opportunity to the fullest.

The stage featured a breakaway of fifteen riders who took a lead of approximately 6 minutes over the yellow jersey group.

Among the attackers , Simon Yates, Thymen Arensman, Michael Storer, Ben O'Connor, and Ben Healy remain in the lead. The latter, 3:55 behind Tadej Pogačar, is aiming to wear the yellow jersey at the finish and is leading the pack.

In the yellow jersey group, Visma attempted an attack with 20 km to go, first with Kuss and then with Jorgenson , but Pogacar put his men in front and brought the group back together.

At the front, with 3.5 km to go, Simon Yates attacks and tries to win the stage, followed by O'Connor and Arensman, while Ben Healy loses contact slightly. Visma doubles its lead, as Jorgenson attempts a new acceleration in the yellow jersey group, quickly followed by Pogacar; among the general classification riders, Vaquelin loses contact, while Vingegaard, Onley, and the Red Bull duo Bora Roglic and Lipowitz remain among the leaders.

With 2.2km to go, Simon Yates attacked again and remained alone in the lead; Arensman remained about five seconds behind, while O'Connor was caught by Healy.

Simon Yates manages his lead and goes on to win the stage ahead of Arensman and Healy who takes the yellow jersey.

Evenepoel accelerates in the leading group, but is quickly caught. Then Pogacar takes off, with only Vingegaard remaining in his wake. The two cross the finish line side by side, while the small group of other top riders finishes almost on the wheels of the two big favorites and is overtaken by Lipowitz .
