Stephen Williams is the new leader of the ranking

Team Dsm's Oscar Onley won the eagerly awaited fifth stage of the Tour Down Under, the 129.3km Christies Beach to Willunga Hill.

On the uphill finish, the symbol of Australian racing, the young Briton preceded his compatriot Stephen Williams of Israel and Jhonathan Narvaez of Ineos.

Isaac Del Toro lost six seconds and also the lead in the general classification. Williams is the new leader but with the same time as a brilliant Onley. Of note is the retirement of Corbin Strong.

Tomorrow last stage with arrival in Mount Lofty after 128 km.
