Lorena Wiebes wins the first stage of the women's UAE Tour in a sprint, from Dubai Miracle Garden to Dubai Harbor (122 km).

The race takes place without any particular jolts, only several falls are reported which, fortunately, do not cause serious consequences.

With 2.5 km to go Schrempf tries to anticipate with a solitary attack, but the group doesn't miss the opportunity for the sprint and manages to regain it in the last kilometre.

The final sprint is dominated by Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx - Protime), launched perfectly by teammate Kopecky . Behind him are two Italians: Barbieri and Consonni .
