UAE Tour, Kooij wins the fifth stage

Olav Kooij wins the fifth stage of the UAE Tour from Al Aqah to Umm Al Quwain, 182 km. The Dutchman from Visma precedes Tim Merlier in the photo finish at the end of a hard-fought sprint.

Third place for Sam Welsford of Bora Hansgrohe who precedes Simone Consonni, fourth.  

All unchanged in the general classification, with Jay Vine maintaining the leader's jersey.
