Vine in crisis, O'Connor third loses his jersey
Lennert Van Eetvelt (Lotto Dstny) won the seventh and final stage of the UAE Tour, from the 161km Al Ain Bait Mohammed Bin Khalifa to Jebel Hafeet.
Plot twist at the start of the last climb: first Brandon McNulty and then Jay Vine , third and first respectively, break away.
In front Emanuel Buchmann, on the run, is caught by the group of the best, Ben O'Connor controls everyone but is unable to respond to the attack of Van Eetvelt who starts two kilometers from the finish line and arrives alone, also taking the success of the Emirates race for two seconds.
