Tim Merlier wins at the GP Fourmies

The Tour of Britain, a week-long Pro Series stage race, ended today, 10 September. The winner was Wout Van Aert , who is preparing to race the European championship in two weeks. The Belgian from Jumbo Visma, the dominating team of the race with five stages won between him and Olav Kooij 's poker, defended himself in the last stage won by Carlos Rodriguez of Ineos Grenadiers. On the final podium go Tobias Johannessen of Uno X and Damien Howson of Q36.5.

Today in France the Fourmies GP was held over a distance of 197.6 km, a race suitable for sprinters. And the winner was Tim Merlier of Soudal Quick Step ahead of Gerben Thijssen of Intermarché and Matteo Moschetti of Q36.5.
