Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) wins the second stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico, from Camaiore to Follonica, 193 km.

Tarozzi attempts a solo escape and is then joined by Bais and Tonelli , while the group maintains a pace well below 40 km/h for three quarters of the race.

In the final the speed increases and the leading trio is caught. Lidl-Trek takes over the operations at the perfect moment, Consonni takes the lead on the last curve and launches Milan very well who, in the last 300 meters, unleashes its power and wins with ease.

Second place for Zijlaard , third for Penhoet .
