The Belgian also takes the yellow jersey as leader of the race

Remco Evenepoel wins the Albufeira time trial, fourth stage of the Volta Algarve, covering the 22 km of the route in 27'09" at an average speed of 48.9 km/h.

Behind him are Sheffield 27'25" and Kung 27'38". Good performance for Del Toro: fourth at the finish line; Cattaneo 5th is the best among the Italians.

Evenepoel also takes the lead in the general classification with a 48-second lead over Daniel Martinez (8th today) and secures victory in the Portuguese race.

Tomorrow the last stage with the uphill arrival on the Alto de Malhao.
