Remco Evenepoel is preparing for a 2024 as a protagonist. The Belgian champion, after winning the Figueira Champions Classica with a 50 km action, is ready for the Volta ao Algarve , scheduled from 14 to 18 February.

Evenepoel, who has already won the race in his career, will have a very respectable team for the Portuguese race with Mikel Landa first domestique for the climb, Mattia Cattaneo, James Knox, Pieter Serry and Louis Vervaeke , in addition to the young Warre Vangheluwe .  

There will be no shortage of competition, Team Ineos will field Geraint Thomas and Thomas Pidcock , Team Visma will have Wout Van Aert and Sepp Kuss (already in great condition), as well as the young talent from UAE Team Emirates , Isaac Del Toro .
