Maxim Van Gils wins the 4.95 km prologue of the Vuelta Andalucia in Alcaudete.

The Belgian from Lotto Dstny is 10" ahead of Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates) and Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious).  

Van Gils effectively wins the only race of the Spanish race, given that the stages on Saturday and Sunday will also be cancelled. Previously, the first two stages had also been cancelled, due to the absence of a sufficient number of members of the Guardia Civil following farmers' protests.

Given the cancellation of all stages, except the prologue, the Fantacycling team decided to cancel the scores for the race, which was available , we remind you, for those who play in "league" mode. So, prologue scores will also not be counted.
