Beat Vernon by 59 cents

Samuel Watson (INEOS Grenadiers) takes the first WT race of the season and wins the Adelaide prologue of the Tour Down Under.

The British runner, among the first to set off, immediately set a great time of 4'16" to cover the 3.6 km course.

Vernon finishes very close behind, just 59 hundredths of a second behind, and no one else has managed to get close to those times since. Pithie finishes third, 2 seconds behind.

Tomorrow is the first stage with the arrival of Tanuda, which is ideal for sprinters.
