Mattia Agostinacchio is the new European U23 cyclocross champion in Middelkerke.

The new EF Education signing, already a junior world champion, surprised everyone by winning the continental event in one of the first races in the new category.

The Italian also took advantage of Sparfel 's mistakes, who fell twice, and attacked shortly before the start of the last lap: only Haverdings tried to chase Agostinacchio , who however managed to cross the finish line alone with a 17" lead on the Dutchman and 20" on De Bruyckere.
