Andresen and Welsford defeated in the final sprint
Jasper Philipsen won the second edition of the Copenhagen Sprint, finishing in the Danish capital after 228.2 km.
A long breakaway of five riders, then four remained: Foldager, Herregodts, Blume Levy, and Andersen. With two laps to go, on the final circuit, a major crash split the group, leaving about thirty riders in front chasing the escapees.
The attackers are caught one kilometer from the finish and the sprint begins: Philipsen overtakes Andresen and takes the victory over the Dane and Welsford in a comeback.
