At the end of a long sprint, the Veronese from Eolo-Kometa beat Amaury Capiot ( Team Arkea Samsic ) and Christopher Lawless ( Total Direct Eenergie ), proving to have all the credentials to assert himself in the group sprints.  

Born in 1996, Lonardi, after the youth categories in the US Ausonia CSI Pescantina, played in the General Store, then in the Zalf (2018), before moving from professional to professional in 2019 with Nippo-Vini Fantini: here he hit a couple of tops ten in the stages of the Giro d'Italia (9th in stage 5 in Terracina and 8th in stage 10 in Modena). Then the two-year period at Bardiani , in which he achieved a stage victory at the Giro di Bulgaria (2021) and showed himself, in 2020, again at the Giro d'Italia (12th in stage 7 in Brindisi and in stage 12 in Rimini ).  

Now the acute that has brought him to the fore and made him attractive as a purchase to complete the squad at Fantacycling.
