Fall in the final and times neutralized

A turbulent third stage at the Tour of Poland was the result of a nasty crash 15 km from the finish involving Jack Haig, Rafal Majka, Mathias Vacek, and the overall leader after yesterday's victory, Paul Lapeira. Organizers decided to stop the three escapees (Ulissi, Milesi, and O'Brien) and the peloton, particularly because of the ambulances that were busy treating the riders.

The jury decided to neutralize the times. Therefore, the only thing at stake was the stage victory, finishing in Walbrzych after 159.3 km. Ben Turner of Ineos won the final sprint, ahead of Pello Bilbao and Andrea Bagioli.

Despite the fall, Lapeira restarted and therefore remains the leader of the standings.
