The Monegasque wins the 6th stage over McNulty

Victor Langellotti wins the sixth stage of the Tour of Poland, from Bukowina Resort to Bukowina Tatrzańska (147.5km).

In the early stages of the race, a breakaway formed with several sprinters, including Magnier, Kooij and Brennan, as well as Hamilton , who was only 32" behind in the general classification and therefore kept under close control by the group.

Along the third pass on Sciana Harnas , the attackers are caught and the yellow jersey Lapeira runs into a bit of difficulty, but manages to get back into the following descent.

On the climb to Sciana Bukovina, Tiberi attacks , but McNulty stays on his wheel, together with a lively Zana and, after the summit, about fifteen riders remain in the leading group.

No one pulled away on the final climb, but McNulty tried his luck on the final flat stretch, even managing to drop Tiberi. Just when victory seemed certain, Langellotti's incredible comeback turned the tables in the final 100 meters. McNulty finished second, Bilbao third.

The Ineos Grenadiers rider now leads the general classification with a 10-second lead over McNulty and a 22-second lead over the Tiberi-Christen duo.
