The sprint during the last lap was decisive; 2nd Sivakov, 3rd Aranburu

Adam Yates wins the Montreal GP, the second Canadian race of 221 km and over 4000 meters of altitude difference.

40 km from the finish line, first action among the favourites: the winner of Friday's Quebec GP, Arnaud De Lie, surprisingly tries. His attempt, however, lasts only a few kilometres, and is in fact caught by the group led by UAE Team Emirates.

At each lap of the course the group becomes more and more selective, despite the fact that until the last round no one attempts an individual attack. On the last climb of the circuit he attacks Adam Yates decisively and manages to make the gap . Only Sivakov , on the next descent, manages to come close behind him.

The two-man sprint was clearly won by Adam Yates who sprinted at -150 meters and preceded Sivakov. Aranburu leads the chasing group and takes third place; fifth the Italian champion Velasco , author of a beautiful race.
