The official route of the Giro di Lombardia

This afternoon the Giro di Lombardia 2024 was presented, the classic of the fallen leaves will take place on Saturday 12 October.

The start will be set in Bergamo , as usual every two years, with the finish in Como which has been changed compared to the last editions.

In the initial part, the riders will tackle the Bergamo climbs of Forcellino di Bianzano, Ganda, Colle di Berbenno, and Valpiana. Subsequently, the group will move to the area of the Larian Triangle where the Madonna del Ghisallo (from the less difficult side from Asso), the new Colma di Sormano from Nesso (13 km at 6.6%) and the final climb of San Fermo della Battaglia are planned.

A Lombardy much less difficult than the previous editions with arrival in Como: in fact, the difficult side of the Ghisallo, the Muro di Sormano and the Civiglio, unusable due to a landslide, will be avoided.
