Lipowitz will be with him, Pellizzari will be the leader in the Giro d'Italia
Remco Evenepoel will not race the Giro d'Italia in 2026, opting to only participate in the Tour de France during his first season with his new team. Red Bull Bora hansgrohe.
The German team announced that the Olympic champion will start as co-leader of the general classification at the Tour, alongside the third-place finisher in the 2025 edition, Florian Lipowitz.
Evenepoel will also start the season surprisingly early in the Mallorca Challenge team time trial, before heading to the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana.
Unfortunately for Belgian Classics fans, Remco will not make his Tour of Flanders debut and will instead race the Volta a Catalunya in the spring.
"I'm very satisfied with the change, it was quite a long process to make it happen, but I'm very happy," said the Belgian.
The team also announced that Giulio Pellizzari, Jay Hindley and Aleksandr Vlasov will ride the Giro d'Italia while Primoz Roglic will be the team captain at the Vuelta a España.
