The Dane reaches the finish line alone

Magnus Cort wins the Veneto Classic 2024 from Soave to Bassano del Grappa of 191.7 km.

The Dane manages to complete a beautiful solo action, leaving no space for his opponents.

In the final stages of the race, three remain in front: Magnus Cort (Uno X), Tobias Bayer (Alpecin Deceunick) and Anders Foldager (Team Jayco AlUla).

Chasing them is a small group of runners including   Hirschi, Strong, Meurisse, Gregoire, Rota, Baroncini, De Pretto, Gualdi, Bennett and Pellizzari . With 20 km to go, the attackers have a 50” advantage over their closest pursuers.

Cort goes alone on the final climb, but from behind, Gregoire moves to 16” while Hirschi, Zana, Meurisse, Pellizzari are 20” behind, with just two kilometers to go to the finish.
