Filippo Baroncini was also involved in a crash during the third stage of the Tour of Poland, which forced the organizers to neutralize the times until the finish.

Baroncini, taken to the hospital, suffered fractures to his face, collarbone, and cervical vertebrae (without neurological damage). Teammate Rafal Majka suffered less serious injuries and returned to action. The team will provide updates on the 24-year-old's condition.
